When you look at your own face in the mirror, do you like what you see? If you have started to notice signs of jowling, loose or saggy skin, and fine lines or wrinkles, you may be a good candidate for FaceTite®. This is a popular, non-surgical alternative to the facelift, and it is a procedure we are pleased to offer to our patients in Chesterton, IN.

How Does FaceTite Work?

FaceTite is approved by the FDA as a minimally-invasive facial rejuvenation treatment. It works by delivering radiofrequency (or RF) energy underneath the surface of the skin. This energy melts fat while also stimulating the production of collagen, tightening the skin for a more taut, youthful appearance.

FaceTite is an application from InMode Systems, the leading name in RF technology. As part of our commitment to state-of-the-art technology, we are pleased to offer a full suite of InMode solutions to our patients in the Chesterton area.

Conditions Treated

FaceTite can be a great way to treat a double chin, jowling, and loose skin along with the jaw line and upper neck.

Specifically, FaceTite is a safe and effective way to return firmness and definition to the lower half of your face, an area that is often the first to show signs of aging.

Our Process

The first step in the treatment process is a consultation, during which Dr. Bennett will assess the condition of a patient’s skin and confirm that they are a good candidate for a safe, successful procedure. Where appropriate, we may counsel patients to consider alternate treatments, like Morpheus8 or AccuTite®, that may be better suited to create the results you desire.

For your FaceTite treatment, we will utilize a local numbing agent in combination with sedation options to ensure patients do not feel any pain or physical discomfort during the procedure. The FaceTite treatment does require a small incision, tiny enough that it may not need stitches and does not leave a scar. A thin metal probe, or cannula, is inserted into the skin, where it emits RF energy in a safe and controlled setting. FaceTite treatments are usually followed by a simple liposuction procedure. Dr. Bennett will discuss sedation options during the consultation.

Recovery Process

Following your treatment, patients can anticipate some redness, swelling, and bruising. Most patients will take four or five days off from work, allowing these symptoms to subside on their own. Compression garments and ice packs may be used to control the symptoms.

Patients will need to wait a full week before they resume exercise.
